This special breed is loyal, loving, protective, velcro to your every move, playful and athletic. They are versatile in field,
obedience and conformation. This highly intelligent breed is known as the “dog with the human brain”; with this intelligence rambunction

of all dog breeds.
The origins of the Weimaraner are unknown, but it was developed in Weimar Germany, at the Court of the Grand
Duke Karl August as a big-game hunting dog for only the nobility. It was later trained as a bird dog and as a water retriever. Being
bred for the rich in Germany, these dogs were treated like royalty. They lived inside their master’s home and rested with the master
by the fire. Today’s Weimaraners has the very same temperament, they don’t do well in kennels, therefore they are an inside dog and
wants to be next to their owners all the time.
Physical Description
Colour: silver grey to dark mouse grey and all intervening
shades of grey.
Coat: short, smooth and sleek
Height: Males are 25 to 27 inches
Females are 23 to 25 inches
Grooming: They require minimum grooming because of their single layer short coat.
Activity Level: They
appreciate lots of outdoor exercise and if hunting they will demonstrate the ability to work hard in the field. They have lots of
stamina and power.
